Chinese EQUATOR Centre has successfully established the framework of “Good Publication Practice Network in Chinese Medicine” and “EQUATOR Chinese Translation Project”. More than 30 relevant papers have been successfully published or accepted by medical journals. In addition, the director of this Centre was invited to publish an Editorial for Journal of Ethnopharmacology titled “Toward high quality trustworthy research finding in clinical research” and a Commentary for Science Bulletin titled “Further enhance the clinical evidence of Chinese medicine in the prevention and treatment of COVID-19”. All these efforts contributed to promote the EQUATOR’s impact throughout China and further enhance the quality of Chinese medical research.

  • Develop reporting guidelines to standardize the reporting of health research from essential aspects, such as trial design, research ethics, registration, protocol, good Clinical practice, quality control, results report, data sharing, and publication, especially in the field of traditional Chinese medicine.

  • Translation, education, and training on reporting guidelines to promote reporting quality of medical research, especially in China.
